Terms of Use
This document is a draft. It has not yet been approved, has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and may change before SWAGVERSE launches publicly.
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of SWAGVERSE. By accepting them during sign-up you agree to follow them, together with the Community Guidelines. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Who can use SWAGVERSE
- You must be 16 or older.
- You sign in with your own Twitch account, and you must follow Twitch's terms too.
- One account per person. Accounts cannot be sold, shared or transferred.
What SWAGVERSE is
SWAGVERSE is an unofficial fan community built around a Twitch creator's community. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch or any streamer unless this is stated explicitly on the site.
Clips shown on SWAGVERSE come from the creator's Twitch channel and from content the creator and their moderators share. Members can like or dislike content, vote in polls, bookmark, join events, report content and appeal decisions. Members cannot upload their own content at launch.
XP, levels and collectibles
- XP is earned only through activity. It can never be bought, sold, transferred, traded or exchanged for money.
- XP, levels, achievements and collectible cards have no monetary value, are not cryptocurrency or NFTs, and are not your property.
- The server calculates all XP. We may correct mistakes and reverse XP gained through bugs, fraud or rule-breaking; corrections are recorded as reversals, which can lower your level.
- Watching or interacting with content on YouTube, sending chat messages and referring others never earns XP.
- Season and team results are final once a season's review window closes, except for corrections of proven errors or fraud.
Paid features
SWAGVERSE has no paid features at launch. If any are introduced they will be cosmetic only — they will never buy XP, competitive score, voting weight or moderation priority — and separate terms will apply.
Your conduct
You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:
- use bots, scripts or automation, or create multiple accounts;
- manipulate votes, polls, XP or leaderboards, including through coordinated "vote rings";
- exploit bugs instead of reporting them, scrape the site, or try to get around its security;
- impersonate anyone, including the creator, moderators or the operator.
Content and intellectual property
Clips, streams, images and names belong to their creators and other right holders. SWAGVERSE's own software and design belong to the operator. You may view content for personal, non-commercial use only.
If you believe content infringes your rights, use Report → Copyright on the content, or contact [CONTACT EMAIL — to be added before launch]. Content confirmed to infringe is removed.
Moderation and enforcement
The operator and the creator's moderators enforce these terms and the Community Guidelines. Depending on how serious a violation is, we may issue a warning, restrict features, hide or remove content, reverse XP, suspend an account temporarily or close it permanently. You can appeal a decision from the notification that tells you about it. Moderation is not available around the clock — see the Community Guidelines.
Third-party services
SWAGVERSE relies on Twitch for sign-in and live video, and can show YouTube or TikTok videos linked by a creator. Those services are provided under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Availability and changes
SWAGVERSE is a new, free service run by one person. It is provided "as is": it may be unavailable, change or be discontinued at any time, and features may be added or removed.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If SWAGVERSE is discontinued, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect losses, for loss of XP, levels or collectibles, or for interruptions of a free service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or affects the mandatory consumer rights of the country you live in.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW — to be confirmed before launch; the operator is based in Türkiye]. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
Each version of these terms has a version number, shown at the top of this page. If they change in a way that matters, you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue.
